Nylacast has a team of highly qualified external sales engineers to help and advise existing and potential customers at every stage of their enquiry. Close co-operation with the in-house engineers means that the material selection can be provided, backed by extensive experience from previous applications.

In-house engineers and CAD designers are available to provide assistance with the design specification of a component. Three-dimensional modelling and visualisation software is employed in this respect.

Consideration is given to all aspects of the intended use in order to select the optimum material. This will include mechanical, thermal, chemical, environmental and electrical demands. The demands will determine manufacturing tolerances and price. Samples and prototypes can be quickly made to test the needs of a product.

In all the above customer needs, our research and development team can provide enhanced manufacturing and process methodology as required. Collaboration with engineering polymer departments of universities has added to our expertise of engineering plastic solutions.
