The purpose built casting facility, which complements the extensive production ability at Nylacast, uses a range of plate, tube and rod casting machines. The casting machines which have been specifically designed by Nylacast have an annual capacity of 2000 tonnes.

We offer a range of engineering plastics, these include:

• Cast Nylon 
• Polyacetal (POM)

 These grades of material are often chosen for application due to:

• Cost effective alternative to metals  
• Low coefficient of friction
• High quality bearing and wear properties
• Resistance to temperature
• Good strength
• Chemical resistant
