Our high-performance products show superior characteristics versus other plastics and primarily against metals. Therefore, our products are used in a growing number of applications in a diverse market and industry sectors within those markets. As a worldwide leader and pioneer of such applications and products, Nylacast is well positioned in the market place with a strong brand image. The strong worldwide demand in plastics and Nylacast's position allowed business operations to venture overseas and to the formation of our International sister organisations.

Nylacast UK

Our headquarters and main manufacturing sites began operations in 1967 based in Leicester, England. Our highly dedicated and focused engineers saw the opportunity for engineering plastics to penetrate many traditionally metal-based applications. As well as being able to process raw materials into specially developed plastics the business soon developed a reputation for being able to machine those components into products, which could be designed and engineered in collaboration with the customer.

Since 1999, we have expanded our operations and manufacturing divisions employing over 450 people at 4 sites.

Nylacast LLC

In 2001 the arrival of Nylacast in Lebanon, Pennsylvania underscored our determination to develop our business internationally and to continue to deliver innovative engineering solutions for clients in North America. The USA is a natural base for Nylacast to launch its North American activities and our aim is to develop the business by applying the same principles as those of the UK. Our approach is to build long-term relationships and focus on adding value to client businesses. In under a decade, our approach has given us a strong position within the market place, strong trading performances and the strengthening of the worldwide Nylacast Brand Image. Nylacast LLC is the local portal for the North American market place but with an international brand position. Semi-finished stock shapes including rod, plate, tube and profiles in a range of engineering plastic materials such as PA6C, and, POM-C ensures a huge size range and a reliable supply of leading brand products, of proprietary products including Oilon and Nylube.

Nylacast South Africa

With strong trading performances in our European and North American sectors, strategically the demand for high-performance products and continual growth of the Nylacast Brand Image lead to the incorporation of Nylacast in South Africa. The operational performance, sales and marketing has been remarkable and mainly due to the superior manufacturing capabilities allied to an outstanding range of fine polymers which, to date, have already been chosen by numerous market leading OEM's for unsurpassed performance and quality.

Ex-stock availability of semi-finished stock shapes including rod, plate, tube and profiles in a range of engineering plastic materials such as PA6C, HDPE, PP, POM-C and PET ensures a huge size range and a reliable supply of leading brand products, of proprietary products including Oilon, Nylube and Nylanite.
